Mrs. Campbell oversees all of the After-School Athenaeum, Summer Camp co-curricular programs and is responsible for the creation and operations of Young Hearts Preschools. Prior to her current position, she served as a Regional Manager for Children’s Learning Adventure, a Center Director, District Manager, Region Vice President and Vice President for Knowledge Universe and an Operations Manager for Rainbow Preschools. In her tenure, she has managed 123 preschools, 660 before and after school programs, 20 private elementary schools and 2 private middle schools in 23 states. She is a past board member of Valley of the Sun Association for the Education of Young Children (local chapter of NAEYC) and was selected to be on the advisory committee for First Things First Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan and has completed graduate level coursework in Secondary Education at Eastern Michigan University. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 37 years, their 3 children, and her two grandchildren.​

Ms. Lewis has been with Young Hearts since Young Hearts Preschool open its doors. She has been working in early childhood education over 16 years. She and her husband have been married for over 28 years and have 3 beautiful daughters, and a beautiful grandson. She enjoys spending time with her family playing games, hiking and swimming. She is committed to making Young Hearts a wonder educational experience for all our students. 

Ms. Rodriguez has over 37 years of experience working in the Early Childhood field. She has worked in 8 pre-schools in both California and Arizona and earned accreditation for 3 of those pre-schools. Her schools attained a 3.5- and 4-star rating with Qualify First. She has assisted in the accreditation process of 5 additional pre-schools. She has held positions from assistant teacher, director, and mentor to other schools. She has been a trainer for AZ state programs CCPT, SUCCCEEDS and a mentor for the CDA (Child Development Associates Credential). She is well versed with ADHS licensing rules and regulations, First Things First rating systems, The Workforce Registry, and has established great relationships with many of the state’s licensing surveyors. ​

Clarissa Sainz is our Assistant Director here at Young Hearts. She is originally from Southern California. She considers herself a desert dweller dreaming of the beach! She has over 6 years of teaching experience in preschool and elementary. She is extremely passionate about shaping little minds and hearts and is dedicated to teaching and guiding our children here at Young Hearts. ​

Ms. Cayley Beaver is from a small town up north called Pine, AZ. She has been working with children for over 5 years and loves it. She is currently going to school to get her bachelor in elementary education. Some of her hobbies include reading and going hiking. She is looking forward to getting to know all the students and families at Young Hearts. ​

Ms. K, has been teaching here at Young Hearts for over a year. She is a Seattle native, who moved to Arizona in 2021. She began her career in Early Childhood Education as a babysitter, which grew into working as a nanny and then lead her here at Young Hearts. Outside of work, you can often find her with a book. If I’m not reading, you can find her painting or cuddling with her fur babies. . Ms. K loves teaching at Young Hearts, and she cannot wait to create an exciting, nurturing, and fun environment this school year! ​

Ms. Jara has been working in early Childhood Education for over four years. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She recently moved to Arizona from California where she was born and raised. She loves Arizona and enjoys visiting new places and trying new restaurants. Spending time with her family is very important to her. She is very excited to get to know our Young Hearts students and to be a part of the Young Hearts team.

Ms. Gieszler is a graduate of NAU, with a BA in Early Childhood Education. She is looking forward to working at Young Hearts preschool. She enjoys traveling and hanging out with her close friends. Ms. Gieszler also works for a nonprofit organization that helps to give shoes to children that don’t have them in Mexico and Uganda.​

Ms. Berrelleza has been working in Early Childhood Education for over 4 years.  She enjoys traveling and baking!  She also loves spending quality time with family and friends.  Ms. Berrelleza is very excited to start her journey with Young Hearts!

Ms. Chonka has worked with children for over 6 months. She loves kids and enjoys bringing positivity into the lives of those around her with her friendly approachable nature. She has a passion for learning and exploring new subjects and is excited to join our Young Hearts Team.

Ms. Vega was raised in Texas. She has worked with children from preschool age to seventh grade. She has been with Great Hearts for almost two years and with Young Hearts for a year. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and zip lining up in Flagstaff. ​
